Ingredients
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
- 1 stick salted butter, cubed
- 1 tablespoon vanilla
- 1 cup milk
- 2 tablespoons maple syrup
- 5-6 peaches, cut into wedges
- 4 tablespoons salted butter (for Maple Butter)
- 1/4 cup maple syrup (for Maple Butter)
Directions
- Preheat your oven to 375 degrees Farenheit.
- Place butter into a 9 x 13" baking pan and set in the oven for about 10 minutes to melt the butter.
- Combine the flour, brown sugar, cinnamon, salt, and baking powder. Then add in the milk and vanilla and stir until all ingredients are mixed to create the batter.
- Place half of the peaches in a single layer over the melted butter.
- Pour the batter over the peaches without stirring.
- Add the rest of the peaches in a layer over the batter.
- Bake for 50-55 minutes until the edges start to brown.
- In a separate bowl, combine the additional butter and maple syrup together and then boil for two minutes, removing from the heat once it boils to create the Maple Butter.
- Allow the cobbler to cool until warm and serve with ice cream and Maple Butter.
