Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1 stick salted butter, cubed
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 tablespoons maple syrup
  • 5-6 peaches, cut into wedges
  • 4 tablespoons salted butter (for Maple Butter)
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup (for Maple Butter)

Directions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375 degrees Farenheit.
  2. Place butter into a 9 x 13" baking pan and set in the oven for about 10 minutes to melt the butter.
  3. Combine the flour, brown sugar, cinnamon, salt, and baking powder. Then add in the milk and vanilla and stir until all ingredients are mixed to create the batter.
  4. Place half of the peaches in a single layer over the melted butter.
  5. Pour the batter over the peaches without stirring.
  6. Add the rest of the peaches in a layer over the batter.
  7. Bake for 50-55 minutes until the edges start to brown.
  8. In a separate bowl, combine the additional butter and maple syrup together and then boil for two minutes, removing from the heat once it boils to create the Maple Butter.
  9. Allow the cobbler to cool until warm and serve with ice cream and Maple Butter.
